Here I'll Discuss Jake's Career's & Such.
Ok, I know, I know, the part you people have been waiting for...Jake Busey's biography...
Jake Busey was born on June 15, 1971 in Los Angeles, California to parents Judy
Helkenburg and to actor Gary Busey. His full name is: William Jacob Busey. When Jake was a little kid, (around 8) he'd sometimes
have to wake up in the middle of the night on school nights and play the drums out in the garage for his dad's band,
surrounded with all of Gary's obnoxious, drunk friends. Although, Jake became a really good drummer. When Jake was about
16 however, his mother Judy, divorced Gary.
I reckon she just couldn't quite take anymore of Gary's craziness. Jake actually
first starred in the movie: Straight Time in 1978 along with his father, Gary. But when Jake was around 17 or
there-about, he decided THEN that he wanted to start acting. Jake had to work really hard trying to start his
acting career. People would constantly turn Jake down because they just didn't want another, or young, Gary Busey around.
Well, Jake Busey is no Gary Busey...even though he DOES look nearly EXACTLY
like him. Well, it wasn't until about 2 1/2 years later that Jake finally got his chance. Jake starred in the movie S.F.W.
in 1994 as the VERY hot, Morrow Streeter. Since then, he landed some small roles in movies and some pretty big roles in movies
as well. Jake does prefer playing the villian in movies.
In Jake's opinion, it's a lot of fun playing the bad guy in films. Not only
that, Jake's about 6'3", taller than the average male actors, and is just...well, pretty frightening. Jake has played roles
from down-to-earth characters (in about 2 or 3 of his over 30 movies) to smart-mouthed characters such as his role as Ace
Levy in 1997's Starship Troopers. Jake, then of course, plays the villians in the rest. Roles such as the psychotic
blonde hitch hiker, Jack in 2002's The Hitcher 2: I've Been Waiting. (Thus, MY personal nickname for Jake is basically
him being THE "psychotic blonde" of Hollywood. To me it's a fitting nickname)
Even His role as Robert Maine in 2003's Identity, should tell
you something there. Well anyways, in his spare time, Jake flys planes/helicopters. Also I've seen the mentioning that Jake
was actually flying the helicopter in 1998's Home Fries were he played as the "bad" brother, Angus Montier. Who knows.
If I ever run across Jake, I'll be sure to ask him. lol.
Also, in some other news, Jake plays in a band called: Feedback. Jake is the
drummer...I've also heard he plays bass guitar in this band as well...yet here's something else I'll be sure to ask Jake Busey
one of these days. Anyways, that's all I can conclude on our beloved Jake Busey.
